Square Enix will in fact be offering a physical version for Japanese fans. Thankfully, we now have confirmation that English will be supported. Fans can import a Japanese copy and play through the RPG much like they would with the digital version.
Play-Asia is currently taking pre-orders for the physical version of Oninaki. If interested, you can secure a copy here. Also, if you’re a fan of the game’s music, you can pick up the soundtrack here.
Nintendo on why it hasn’t given a release date for Luigi’s Mansion 3 yet
Posted 1 hour ago by Brian in News, Switch | 0 comments
Almost every 2019 game featured in the E3 Nintendo Direct was given a release date. However, there was one notable exception: Luigi’s Mansion 3. Some fans might be wondering why we haven’t found out when it’s coming out yet.
Speaking with Polygon, Nintendo’s Bill Trinen said that Next Level Games is “putting a lot of care into the game. We want to let them put the care into it they want, so we’re waiting on them to let us know and we’ll solidify the release date.”
Having Luigi’s Mansion 3 ready for Halloween would certainly make a lot of sense. We’ll have to want and see if the next ends up meeting that release window.

UK sales for May 2019
Posted 14 hours ago by Brian in News, Switch | 0 comments
New sales data is in from the UK for the month of May 2019.
One of the new additions during the month was Team Sonic Racing, which makes the top ten at the seventh spot. 39 percent of all copies were sold on Switch, which was more than Xbox One’s 21 percent and close to PS4’s 40 percent.
@SigmaVirus End users are most likely either inexperienced or malicious, but regardless of what their intent is, system files are, as @JayFoxRox mentioned in the forum post, something that should've already been done ages ago. I mean, for gods' sake dolphin-emu/dolphin
has had an HLE IOS since it started supporting the Wii.
And, the purpose of emulating a system is to preserve its legacy, yeah? How hard is it to get the system files now? Trivial; hell, I just got a 2DS off eBay for $40. But what about in a year? Five years? Ten? Twenty? Should we really wait until then to do this? Or do we want to end up like the Original Xbox's emulation scene? (That is, in disrepair and desperately hoping to find some glimpse of technical documentation buried in a developer unit's NAND.)
Bad Word Filter
I am in no way supportive of piracy (especially after having been on the other side of that conversation as a game developer myself), but should we purposefully cripple the project because of it? No! Sure, some may believe it to be a 'legal guard rail', if you will, but I'd argue that it's just the opposite in the long run. The fact that it depends on IP to boot a great majority of games and homebrew, would just motivate more piracy in the future, when a 3DS is not as common a commodity.
Bad Word List Language
The days of being forced to decide to either dump your own BIOS/fonts/whatever and risk ruining your hardware, or scour less-than-reputable websites for a copy should be ended as soon as possible. When presented with this choice, the end user will always pick the green button that reads 'Download Now!', so why should we force a naïve user to pirate these to experience history in the future, when it is our (granted, volunteer) job to facilitate the preservation and reproduction thereof?
