Sm Bus Controller Driver Asus Z97-e/usb 31

This version is not compatible with the Asus Z97-E USB 3.1. I had to rollback the driver to the previous one. It causes 'Device Not Detected' in. Device Type: Universal Serial Bus controllers. Device Name: ASMedia USB3.1. I have a XPS420 and I've got the yellow exclamation point next to 'SM Bus Controller' in my device manager. I downloaded the chipset driver and installed it but the exclamation is still there.

Sm Bus Controller Driver For Compaq

Just an FYI if you're running an Asus motherboard in your rig. After looking around for close to two hours as to why I couldn't get my controllers to sync using ANY USB ports on my mobo, the common factor was the mobo being made by Asus.

Bought an Insignia card that uses an Intel controller and all is well! I can't believe I just wasted the first two hours screwing with every single USB port on my mobo. If something still doesn't work after following general troubleshooting steps for syncing, there's a pretty good chance you're going to need a USB PCIe card. Just make sure the controller doesn't match the one already on your mobo.

Just a side note, there is literally no other indication in device manager no matter what drivers you use. The only thing that would happen is not being able to sync controllers at all. Switched USB ports and then I could sync controllers, but then it wouldn't find my lighthouses.
